The largest natural lake in South Wales plays host to the Llangorse Lake Open water Swim amid the majestic hills and mountains of the Brecon Beacons. Here the late Paul Jickells demonstrates what it takes to do the LLangorse Swim. You have to train! He would say that ideally you want to be swimming at least 1.5 K in the open water regularly. During his training he would use the Wye. In the pool he would swim straight 3 K. Check out the video to see Paul in action in the Wye.
